THE WORLD NEEDS YOU

There are seven (7) continents in the world: Africa, Antarctica, Asia, Australia/Oceanic, Europe, North America and South America. At different ages of man, people have inhabited and are still living in these various continents except Antarctica because it is not habitable.

The world can be describe as a barrack, no soldier stays in the barrack for life, there is a common slang in Nigeria which says: "Soldier go, soldier come, barrack still remains." Many generations of people have lived in this world.

Those generations before us have done pretty much for us. All the comfort and convenience we enjoy today is as a result of those who realised that the world needs them and they decided to meet the needs by sacrificing their time, efforts and intellects for the betterment of the world.

Just for a moment envisage a world without electricity, internet, airplane and a host of others. Definitely without those aforementioned things the world would have been somehow. It is not that the world can not do without these aforementioned inventions but it make the world a better place to live.

Not everyone in past generations are known to us that they once existed. Those will mostly know are those that made impacts and the legacy they left is the footprints that still live long in our hearts. We know Williams Shakespeare for his writings, we know Thomas Edison, who invented electric bulb, we know Wright brothers for their invention, that is, airplane. 

History is full of men and women that realised that the world needs them and they met the needs in the way they could, You may have no idea of how the world needs you but the world definitely needs you.

The world is full of needs, Let contribute our quota to the world by meeting a need in the world. Let build on inventions and discoveries made by past generations and make even more better versions.

Locating and meeting  needs may be challenging but please fuel your desire to meet a need and make it a burning desire so as to make this world a better place.

Irrespective of your continent and provided you are on this planet. The world needs your time, talent, skill, intellect, gift and that spectacular thing you have been dreaming about at your mother's knee.
