“Only a mediocre person is always at his best.” _W. SOMERSET MAUGHAM
Myles Munroe, in one of his books titled, ‘Maximizing Your Potential’ said that:
“Mediocrity is the spirit of the average, the anthem of the norm, and the heartbeat of the ordinary. Mediocrity is so common and pervasive that those who are labeled as genius or exceptional have to do only little extra.”
The majority of us aspire to be the best in our field and rule the world. But, as the weeks and years pass, our attention shifted.
Usually at this stage, we're stuck in the mediocrity trap, angry or frustrated that our efforts are not productive enough.
Mediocrity makes us to settle in our comfort zones.
Too many of us are celebrating, and totally enjoying a life of mediocrity, we have adjusted to survival instead of great success and we’re cool like that.
Are You Stuck in the Mediocrity Trap?
Settling for less than the best hinders dreams from coming true.
Every dreamer knows what he or she wants to achieve with his or her dreams but hindrances or impediments on way make settling for the less or taking the easy route or path as the best option.
This restricted and constrained way of living is not the best life can offer you. Beyond the barbed wire of dread and mediocrity that surrounds you is a life filled with endless possibilities.
Today, I issue a challenge to you: Hold on to a life that truly embodies greatness and splendor.
Take responsibility for your dreams and never settle for anything less life brings your way.
You can achieve much more than you ever thought you could achieve.
Don’t get lost in the crowd of mediocrity.
My dear reader, it's time for you to rule your own universe; stop aspiring to be a king in your comfort zone.
